On April 30, 2017, the ACROPOLIS group on Aid Effectiveness in Fragile Contexts came to an end.
On May 1, 2017, a new ACROPOLIS group started its activities. Following up from the work on Aid effectiveness in fragile contexts, its main focus is policy coherence for development. Indeed, both internally (among development actors and stakeholders) and externally (in a 3D-LO and/or whole-of-government approach), policy coherence is the main challenge for development in fragile and conflict affected areas. The idea is therefore to study governance networks in several pilot countries in order to draw lessons on how to improve or achieve policy coherence for aid effectiveness in fragile contexts.
